I’m biased towards eBooks, but will be fair.
Print is great for everyone who prefers to hold a book, however, from an Author point of view:
When an Author needs to make changes, they add to their manuscript, but it could take upto 6 months for the new edition to reach shelves.
eBooks: (Electronic Books)
Are great as you can carry thousands of titles on your device.
From an Author point of view, when changes are needed, they can be done and new version available within 2-4 days.
I know as I’ve had to make changes to mine.
Print are more expensive and destroy more trees.
Electronic are cheaper and easier.
I hope this blog has given you all a better perspective.
Did You Know? You can earn between 11-30% commission as an affiliate.
How this works: You sign up, Free, to Smashwords, then join the affiliate program. Every time someone buys an eBook, using your unique link, if there’s an affiliate rate, you receive that, end of the following month to your PayPal account.
Winners Are Grinners.
Print is great if you only have 1 book to read.
My favourite things about Smashwords:
1. Are like a wholesaler, who sells direct to the consumer.
2. They have sales during the year, which Indie Aurhors are invited to participate.
3. ( My Favourite) I can, and quite often do, discount my titles as low as $0.99 USD.
